Digital Video Repair - Small utility for repairing (fixing) AVI files. You can repair your AVI file in these cases:

AVI file have not completely copied from CD, DVD or other source
AVI file have not completely downloaded from the Internet (eDonkey, BitTorrent, etc)
Video freezed when playing
Video can’t be seeked (fast forwarded)

Video can’t be played DivFix- Fixes broken DivXs, AVIs, XviDs. DivXFix, AVIFix, XviDFix. If this wont work try the newer DivFix++ also.

DivFix++- This program designed to repair broken AVI file streams by rebuilding index part of file. This is very useful when trying to preview movies which has no index part, like some files are currently downloading from ed2k or bittorent networks. DivFix++ is complete rewrite of “DivFix” program due it’s bugs and low performance.

DivXRepair- Using DivXRepair, you can repair corrupt avi files and eliminate freezes. This program automatically detects and eliminates bad frames. Basically a front-end tool to VirtualDub for those who are not comfortable with VirtualDub.

FixVTS- FixVTS is a very tiny tool that allows you to adjust your DVD files into better DVD compliance, so they can be opened in DVDShrink, vobblanker or other DVD softwares. This is especially useful if your DVD had some kind of copy protection or recorded with a DVD Recorder that prevents DVDShrink, Vobblanker, etc from opening it. FixVTS can fix that for you. MPEG4 Modifier- Modifies a MPEG-4 ASP video (XviD, DivX) without re-encoding (change aspect ratio, edit userdata, remove or add packed bitstream, and change interlaced field order). It can also show information about the video such as the amount of I/P/S/B-VOPs used, whether or not QPel/GMC were used, etc.

PVAStrumento- PVAStrumento is a tool to convert files recorded with a DVB PC-card in PVA-format to regular MPEG2 program streams. It can also be used to “repair” existing MPEG2 PS for further processing.

4 Tools That Convert M2T files

GearShift by VASST. GearShift can convert your m2t files to a file format with minimal loss.

This is really the only option. If you convert to mov you will lose quality. You can also try renaming the file to .mpg and see if that helps any.
